Proposed KAPLEN Offices in the coming years.
KAPLEN office in Motherland Village has served us since it opened its doors despite it size. The office is small hence we find it challenging due to the high number of clients who visit the office frequently. In the new proposed structure, every program officer will have a bigger working space and the community will be served effectively. We hope to achieve this in the near future.
IMLU Staff attending to community members
KAPLEN organized a Legal Aid Clinic in Pumwani and we involved our partners: IMLU, FIDA, COVAW and the Nairobi People Settlements Network. Community members' cases were attended to and follow ups made to the later by KAPLEN staff.
Women form Kiambiu and Motherland in a forum on Devolved Funds

KAPLEN members with AMWIK staff
This was a visit by the Association of Media Women in Kenya staff. They were following up on KAPLEN implementation of Community Radio Programmes on Making Local Authorities Accountable.

This forums were helpful to the community members who attended, from Kiambiu and Motherland

Action time

Yet again another year with new leadership. Hope that this year the programs will be more active and the community will benefit more through our initiatives. We hope to work smart in the upcoming Legal Aid Clinic to be held soon(planning is underway)
In this process, we are also hoping to expand out networks with like minded organizations in our efforts to assist our communities to acquire social justice.
